The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Zoey Stark confirms that she has torn her ACL/Meniscus but has had successful surgery.
In a report from last week, Stark was said to have had a legitimate injury after a storyline on-screen moment that had Toxic Attraction take her out in the women’s locker room. Stark’s injury came from working the Scareway to Hell Triple Threat Ladder Match at Halloween Havoc where she and Io Shirai lost the tag titles.
In her post on social media, Stark wishes Shriai good luck in her tag team match tonight. Shirai will be paired with Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter as they battle all three members of Toxic Attraction. Catanzaro & Carter helped make the save on Shirai last week when Stark was not able to.
