Former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Zoey Stark is reportedly out with an actual injury.
In a report by POST Wrestling, Stark being the target of Toxic Attraction’s attack on Tuesday’s NXT 2.0 was a way of writing her off TV. Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne were seen in the women’s locker room after an attack on Stark left her in pain as referees came in to remove the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions from the situation.
Toxic Attraction won the titles from Stark & Io Shirai in a Triple Threat Scareway to Hell Ladder Match at last week’s Halloween Havoc. This match also included Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta.
The injury report doesn’t go into detail but POST Wrestling has confirmed that Stark is listed on the internal injury list. Multiple sources confirm the injury is legitimate and they are working on seeing what the extent is and how much time she may miss.
